Happi - Japanese Coat
The "Happi" jackets in this category are all in one size, 100% cotton, printed design. Happi is the traditional japanese coath and are usually worn in festivals. Originally, Happi represented the crest of a family, as happi were worn by house servants. Later, Happi commonly began to display the crests of shops and organisations. Firefighters of the Edo era also used to wear happi and the symbol on their backs referred to the group with which they were associated.
